In the Backyard BBQ:

1.) Hospitality is the secret ingredient.

By faith the prostitute Rehab, because she welcomed

the spies, was not killed with those who were

disobedient.

Hebrews 11:31

Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

1 Peter 4:9

2.) Hospitality connects us with Jesus.

Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do

not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so

doing some people have shown hospitality to angels

without knowing it.

Hebrews 13:1-3

“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you

who are blessed by my Father, take your inheritance,

the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the

world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to

eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I

was a stranger and you invited me in, …

3.) Hospitality is a spiritual practice.

Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice

hospitality.
