Alpha offers a safe space where people can have honest conversations around faith topics and how they relate to life’s biggest questions. Each week we will watch a short video and have discussion around a particular topic. A light breakfast will be served. This class starts on Jan 18th and runs for 9 weeks. This is a foundation class in our church discipleship track and is recommended for those newer to or just exploring their faith.
Using the Practicing the Way materials by John Mark Comer, this 8-week class covers some of the basic practices that we can develop in our lives to help us in becoming mature apprentices of Jesus. A short video and discussion will be part of each week’s meeting. This is a foundation class in our church discipleship track
Griefshare is a video-based curriculum that helps people cope with the loss of a loved one.

WHY JOIN A SMALL GROUP?

Wednesdays 7pm
Virtual

Thursdays 12pm
Auburn Site

Traditional Small Groups focus on a topic or Bible study, while Interest Groups center around a certain shared interest or activity.

This group is for anyone who wants to increase their understanding and develop their practice of prayer. Using Richard Foster’s book, Prayer: Finding the Heart’s True Home, we will explore the many facets of prayer, from the ordinary to the extraordinary. We will study prayers in the Bible and include worship
and prayer in each week’s meeting.
This group will study the Rick Warren book, How To Get Through What You Are Going Through to help us understand the journey of grief and what to expect along the way. Looking to God’s word for hope and encouragement, we will see how God is in control and how He uses our pain for a purpose.
Relationships are key to growth. To help facilitate relationships here at the Vineyard, we have Small Groups and Interest Groups. These are groups of 5+ people that get together - at church, online, at home, or elsewhere - for the purpose of growing in our relationship with God and each other.
