Partnership
Partnership at the Vineyard Church is a yearly commitment to seek personal spiritual growth in the context of this church. It is publicly saying “I am going on a journey with Jesus and this group of people over the next year and will try to grow in each of the areas in the Partnership Declaration.” I am going on a journey with Jesus and with this group of people over the next year and I w. We believe key areas of growth are represented by the Vineyard Vision (Grab-Grow-Go) and the Partnership Declaration.
During Partnership Weekend each year, those desiring to be Partners are asked to make a public commitment by signing the Partnership Declaration at one of the weekend services.

Partnership Declaration
I am declaring myself to be an active partner with Jesus at the Vineyard Church and will review this commitment yearly. Partnership will display itself in the following commitments:
I declare myself to be under the leadership of Jesus. I will display this in baptism.
Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:16
I declare myself willing to share my story of God’s grace with others and proactively engage people to help them embrace Jesus.
But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect. 1 Peter 3:15
I declare myself willing to work at developing personal spiritual growth. I will do this by committing to grow in understanding and practice of such spiritual disciplines as prayer, meditation, worship, and Bible study.
But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:18
I declare that I am committing to be a part of the life of this church. This will be accomplished by regular participation in our weekend service as well as a small group.
Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another--and all the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25
I declare I will work to build up and support people at the Vineyard, while refraining from negativity or gossip.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up. 1 Thes. 5:11
I declare I am committing to honor God with my material resources and support the Vineyard using the biblical standard of the tithe as the goal to reach or exceed.
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord Almighty. Malachi 3:10
I declare I will seek ways to serve this church community in ministry and its outreach to others.
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10
I declare I am willing to move in the vision, beliefs, values and structure of the Vineyard Church as communicated by the pastoral leadership team. If I’m thinking of leaving, I will discuss this with one of them.
Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you. Hebrews 13:17
Over the next year I am committing to seek growth in each of these areas with this church.
