How Can I Help?
By Gary Dawkins
1. Identify a need.
. . . so he got up from the meal, took off his outer clothing, and wrapped a towel around his waist. After that, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet, drying them with the towel that was wrapped around him
John 13:4-5 p. 1079
2. Take action.
Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet.
John 13:14 p. 1080
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.
Galatians 5:13 p. 1171
3. Acknowledge your blessings.
Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
John 13:17 p. 1080
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
Luke 6:38 p. 1033
