“Life of the Party”

“The Homecoming Party”
- Jesus wants all to come home.
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”
“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?”
“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Doesn’t she light a lamp, sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?”
“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.”
- There is a big party when we come home.
“In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
- Every person needs to make that decision.
“I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you.”
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God . . .”
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”
2 Corinthians 5:21
